Required materials

  1. A Curriculum Vitae prepared according to the FAPESP CV summary format: It is not that long and easy to build. The template is available here, and we need it to have a summary of your achievements and an abridged version of the scientific and technical production. There is also a space for additional relevant information where you can depict any caveats, academic or non-academic, you find important to disclose.
  2. A Project Abstract (up to 2,000 characters, including spaces): This is a text (with no figures, sorry!) you are going to enter into a proper box in the form. You have 2,000 characters to navigate us into your current research or technical activities. No problem if the project is not exactly on microplastics, although it would be nice to make explicit the interface of your project with the microplastics field. Additionally, we will value components like a clear statement of your research question, the novelty associated with your project, the potential scientific and societal impact, and comments regarding the current interdisciplinarity or potential to dialogue with other fields.
  3. A Motivation Letter (up to 2,000 characters, including spaces): Again, this is also a text (with no figures, sorry!) you are going to enter into a proper box in the form. You have 2,000 characters to navigate us into what is leading you to this School. It is important that you reflect in the text your understanding on the School aims (please, avoid copy and paste or rephrasing…), a clear explanation on how your participation will be important to your betterment in the field and how you will enrich the School’s environment (in other words, what you will take from and bring into the School).
  4. One Letter of Recommendation: This is going to be the file someone will give to you speaking highly about you. Here we do not have any recommendations. Let’s see what people have to tell about you.
